{Skiing}

When my family visited the Beehive State we decided to go skiing. I learned to ski when I was 4 or 5 years old and grew up skiing at Brighton (the home of Mt. Millicent, thankyouverymuch) and Deer Valley. Sad to say...I haven't been skiing in over 5 years! It took me a while to get back into the swing of things, but after a few runs I was having a blast! However, it'll take lots of practice be as good as sweet husband. I couldn't keep up with him!

We took a break for lunch. Too bad we missed breakfast! I bet the 'Millicent' french toast is yummy!

Mama and Daddy were quite the lovebirds on the lift...

{Slumber Party}

Our darling nieces became fast friends at our wedding. They are the exact same age and love playing together...SO, we decided to have a slumber party. Fun! We played with our American Girl Dolls...

...made pizza and cupcakes! Yum!

...and watched the movie, Tangled. Uncle Christian was such a good sport.

{L.A. Outing}

When we were in CA, for New Years, we decided to spend a day in Los Angeles. What a fun day! Rather than driving downtown, we turned our outing into a little field trip, by taking the Metro. Dad would occasionally poke his head out to see if we were at "our stop."

The Los Angeles train station. What a neat building!

We wandered around Olvera Street and Mason reconnected with his inner Nacho Libre.

Grauman's Chinese Theatre - where it was confirmed, yet again, that Gentleman Prefer Blondes! (I knew it!)

Philippes was our final stop of the day. Delicious dinner. Yum! (Christian wasn't quite picture-ready for the below photo.)

I am very happy for these two. Mason and Jaye are getting married July 23rd and are a fabulous couple! They love to laugh, are kind, fun-loving, smart, grounded in the Gospel and bring out the best in each other. Congratulations baby brother and future sister! 123...123...123
