{Arches}

For our one year anniversary, we headed south. We drove down to Moab for a weekend of relaxing and hiking. Such a fun trip. Still can't believe we're married and that we have already had an actual anniversary. One year down...Eternity to go. (That's a reeeeally long time. Good thing I kinda like my hubby!)

{Couldn't get my wedding ring off! Guess that's a good thing..?}

{MTC: May 18, 2011}

Elder Segura entered the MTC on Wednesday, May 18, 2011. He spent his last night at our home, with my Mom and Dad. I'm so glad I was able to spend Tuesday night with him. What a special memory.

There were two pre MTC requirements for my not-so-little baby brother. 1. Pack. 2. Go to In-N-Out on our way to the MTC. Done and done.

The Famdamly (minus a few)

These two are best friends and each other's biggest fans.

{MISSIONARY TRAINING CENTER}
Lots of hugs, a few tears, more hugs and tender words of love. A wonderful place.

After Mama and I endured a slight emotional breakdown. (Not really. Only kind of.) A little Elder walked over and told our big Elder it was time to go. He took hold of Cameron's red suitcase and off they went. Just like that. We stood at parking spot 19 and watched Elder Segura walk away.

Proud and worried parents watching their baby boy enter the MTC. Oh, how they love him!

{I Hope They Call Me On A Mission}

The Thailand Flag flew proudly. Cameron was the man of the hour as friends and family gathered to wish him luck before he left for his LDS Mission to Thailand. (I still can't believe he's old enough to serve a mission.)

Many good friends stopped by. I even got to meet baby Bryce. He spit up on me. Pretty sure that means he wants to be my BFF.

Cameron is loved by many - but those who will miss him most, are these little ones.

Best of luck, Elder Segura! We are so proud of you. 123...123...123...

{Skiing}

When my family visited the Beehive State we decided to go skiing. I learned to ski when I was 4 or 5 years old and grew up skiing at Brighton (the home of Mt. Millicent, thankyouverymuch) and Deer Valley. Sad to say...I haven't been skiing in over 5 years! It took me a while to get back into the swing of things, but after a few runs I was having a blast! However, it'll take lots of practice be as good as sweet husband. I couldn't keep up with him!

We took a break for lunch. Too bad we missed breakfast! I bet the 'Millicent' french toast is yummy!

Mama and Daddy were quite the lovebirds on the lift...

{Slumber Party}

Our darling nieces became fast friends at our wedding. They are the exact same age and love playing together...SO, we decided to have a slumber party. Fun! We played with our American Girl Dolls...

...made pizza and cupcakes! Yum!

...and watched the movie, Tangled. Uncle Christian was such a good sport.
