{DC Party}

Jennah and Noelle threw me a great party in DC. I loved seeing my old friends. They are fabulous women and I miss them dearly.

We mingled, ate tasty treats, and kissed darling babies.

Mrs. Parks and Baby Millie. I can't wait to meet her!

Where it all began. Brittany and I met in Basic Food Prep, our last sememester, at BYU. We reunited in Las Vegas, where we lived and worked together on the 2004 Presidential Race. We moved to DC and shared a room for two years. We both worked at the White House and turns out...we both married dentists! She is a wonderful friend who always makes me laugh.

Thank you, Jennah and Noelle. I had a such a wonderful time!

The women of the Glendora Third Ward threw me a fantastic bridal shower. What a wonderful afternoon! I love spending time with these ladies. They are incredible women who have had a constant influence on me over the years. I feel so blessed to know them.

Our dear friend, Kim, opened her home and put together a terrific luncheon. She is a gracious hostess and thought of every detail. Kim asked Christian to write me a letter and read it to the group. We were all touched by his sweet words and I thought to myself, "I'm such a lucky girl!"

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Kimmmay!

{Old Friends}

My wonderful high school friends threw me a bridal shower. What a fun night! We had a low-key evening full of great food, laughs and even a few tears. Brittney opened her home and hosted a lovely party with the help of her twin sister, Ashley, and my dear friend, Lisa.

Brittney thought it would be funny to have me bake a cake from scratch, sans recipe. They gave me a cute apron and let me loose in the kitchen. The cake wasn't that bad! Yes, it tasted a bit more like bread than a cake...but at least I tried!

I had to answer questions about Christian. If I got the answer wrong, I had to take off an article of clothing. (My friends were nice and let me prepare for the game by putting on lots of Brittney's clothes. Please note the cheer socks from high school! Classic. Go Tartans!)
My "bread" cake. Kendall liked it.
Lisa read a touching letter from Christian. We all cried. It was so sweet.
Thank you, friends!!!
