{Rehersal Dinner}

Christian's family hosted a lovely dinner, the night before our wedding. We were able to visit with dear family and friends who have blessed our lives over the years. It was a wonderful night full of laughter, a few tears (of joy), and lots of love.

Our Mothers reminisced.

And our Fathers shared memories. Robby filled in for Christian's Dad and read a sweet letter.
Our big brothers gave toasts.
Sisters and Brothers sang.
While other brothers danced.
My brothers L-O-V-E me!!!

Thank you Mom and Dad B for such a wonderful evening! And thank you to Missy, Jennah & Chelsea for the great pictures!

{Tea Time}

A few weeks before the wedding, my Nanny hosted a bridal tea at her club. What a lovely afternoon! Friends and family came from all over. I was able to visit with people I hadn't seen in years! We had so much fun chatting, that pictures were an afterthought! Luckily my good friend Chelsea snapped a few photos at the end of the party.

Sisters-in-law. I lucked out!

My beautiful cousin Anna sang. (She will be famous. I'm positive.) We all ate yummy food.

Cousin Lisa, Aunt Cyd, and Cousins Bryn and Anna. DC friends Arianne and Megan.

Lots of mingling. My handsome man even stopped by.

{Thanks Chels, for the great pictures. I'm only sad you're not in any of them!!!}

{Family}

My paternal Grandmother is an incredible woman. She is a hard worker, thoughtful, has a contagious laugh and gives great hugs. Grandma gave me a very special wedding gift. My aunt found a White House cookbook that belonged to my Great-Grandmother. The book has an inscription from my Great-Grandmother's Mother on the inside cover from 1925. Grandma thought I should have it as a keepsake. She even included a letter with her memories of the recipes her Mother (my Great-Grandmother) used to make special treats for their family. What a treasure!

Grandma explaining the cookbook to my cousins Serena, Laurel and me.

Love My Family. They threw me a wonderful bridal shower!!!
