{Mrs. H}

I met Arianne when I lived in DC. She is a wonderful person, and I feel blessed to call her a friend. She and Aaron were married in December and had a beautiful wedding. They are fabulous people and I'm happy they found each other. Mr. H is a very lucky man.

They're one stylish couple!

My man. He looks so natural with a baby in his arms. We may need to get him one of those...

Mrs. H is the ultimate dancer...so, naturally, the reception was jam packed with lots and lots of dancing. Hubby and I had a blast! He even spun me around and stole a little kiss. Love that guy.

Congrats, again, my friend. So happy for you. Excited to see you in a few weeks!

{O, Christmas Tree...}

Our first Christmas tree. Yay! Too bad we didn't take any pictures of it actually "standing" in our living room. Awell. I'll be sure to get photos next year.

{Thanksgiving}

I guess we're officially grown-up. We hosted Thanksgiving! Actually, when I say "we" hosted...I mean my Mama planned and organized most of the day. We simply offered our living/dining room as a spot for handy dandy Costco tables. Voila! It's like our own little banquet hall. It was a great day with Mama & Daddy, the Humphries Family, my cousin Jesse, Nana and all my brothers and their families...minus Cameron who was at school in Hawaii. (We missed you baby brother!)

It's not Thanksgiving without a little rough-housing.
We tried to get a picture of all the grandkids. We'll give it another go at the next family event.

{GWB Presidential Library}

We were able to go to Dallas, in October, for the groundbreaking of the George W. Bush Presidential Library. I was excited to see my former WH colleagues. I worked with most of these people for about three years, and it was wonderful to see everyone again. I was especially anxious for everyone to meet Christian and vice versa.

We were also able to spend some time with Christian's oldest brother Erick and his family. We had such a fun time with Erick, Sarah and their kids. So sad I didn't get one picture!

On the bus headin' to the party the night before the groundbreaking. It was a blast! There was a live band, BBQ and lots of old friends. Wish I would have taken more pictures! Some of the first people we saw were Kevin and Taylor. Kevin and I were some of the only Californians at the WH. (We were usually found daydreaming about In N' Out.) Taylor and I worked together in the FL's Office.

Sarah Penny and Mike McCarlie. Two of my favorite people. Sarah and I worked in the WW, together. I met McCarlie when I worked on the BC'04 Campaign in Nevada. We were only missing Brittany. Wish you would've been there Mrs. Richman!

Inside the tent for the groundbreaking ceremony at Southern Methodist University. We sat smack-dab in the middle of the audience. The crowd behind....the crowd in front.

With Hubby, waiting for the ceremony to start. We ran into Pete Seat on our way back to the hotel. He's a buddy from the Press Office. I had a lot of fun with Pete, in DC, and am so happy we saw him.

After the groundbreaking at SMU, we were invited to a special luncheon with some colleagues. (Call me if you want more details. Wonderful experience!) On our way to lunch, we drove through this intersection. If there is a Glendora Avenue in Dallas, it must be a great city. Texas is calling my name!

Final picture from our whirlwind weekend is of this guy. What a heartbreaker!

{2G Photography}

I bought my wedding dress from a store called, The Perfect Dress. I was skeptical, and was positive I wouldn't like any of their selections. However, I was pleasantly surprised! After a few alterations I really did end up with, "the perfect dress." (pun intended.) The store asked for photos of me modeling my dress. I asked my fabulous photographer sister-in-law, Missy, to take some pictures. (We would have had her photograph our wedding if she hadn't been a guest.) Christian came along and we were able to get some terrific photos of the two of us. When we took these pictures we had been married about two months. It was so much fun to get dressed up in my wedding dress, again. We had a great afternoon wandering around Memory Grove and Temple Square, with Missy.

Thank you, again, Miss! We looooove the pictures...almost as much as you.
